When the majority of people think about having a vacation in Britain they nearly always just think about resorts close to the sea such as Blackpool, Bognor Regis, Eastbourne and Clacton-on-Sea. Occasionally folk might debate taking a vacation in a particular county in England such as Devon in the south of England but rarely do they think about having a vacation in the city of Exeter. Please note that it is fifteen miles from the center of the city. If you want more luxury the inn also has four-poster rooms available.

This hotel is far closer to the city center, about 1.6 kilometers. It is a two star hotel with comfortable en suite rooms and, importantly, you can access your room twenty four hours a day, which is excellent if you are planning on a late night or you need access during the day. There is there is Free wireless internet access available in the public places of the hotel.
Tourist Attractions
In Exeter there are just a few of visitor attractions which merit a visit including; the Royal Albert Museum, St Peter’s Cathedral and Rougemont Castle. As I mentioned earlier there is a small collection of nearby seaside towns to visit the most beautiful being the pretty villages of Seaton, Beer and Sidmouth.
Further away, in between Exeter and Plymouth is the hardly populated moorland of the Dartmoor National Park with the general area having a fair few tourist attractions to visit including Buckfast Abbey, A La Ronde and Buckland Abbey on the main route, to Plymouth. Along the way you will pass the Torbay area, which is made up of Torquay, Brixham and Paignton and is commonly called the English Riviera.
